In the season of 2001–02 , the couple won their first bronze medal at the famous 2002 Canadian Championships at the rookie level. After doing exceptionally well, in the next season, they were placed in the 7th rank at the 2003 Canadian Championship.
Tessa and Moir then made their debut in the ISU Grand Prix in the year 2003 and they were placed 4th. They continued to move on stronger and better. This made them the winners at the 2004 Canadian Junior Championships. After doing awesomely well in the junior scene Tessa made her debut in the international scene in the year 2007. During the year 2007, in the Canadian Championships, Virtue and Moir won the silver medal, and again achieved their bronze medal finish at the Four Continents championships. When they made their debut at the World Championships, during that time it was the highest debut by any team in over 20 years when they placed 6th. In addition to this, in the year 2008 they also won the 4 continents title. It was in the year 2010 when it was a pinnacle in the career of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir. This was because of the fact that they won the world championships and also the winter Olympic gold medal which made them one of the most successful and the decorated teams in the sport of Ice Skating. They got more medals in the upcoming Olympics as they achieved two silver in the 2013-2014 period and two gold medals at the 2017-2018 season.

As the world knows she dated and has been with her skating partner Scott Moir since 1997 and have been together since. Even though they have been seen together, we still have not been able to tell anything so personal about the two of them.
